Performance Logic, Inc., announces partnership with The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids®)HealthCommander project management platform fully operational to support IT projects at SickKids. Enterprise-wide deployment scheduled for 2009.Portland, OR – January, 12, 2009 – Performance Logic, Inc. (PL), the leading provider of SaaS project and portfolio management (PPM) solutions for the healthcare industry, announced that SickKids, Canada's most research-intensive hospital and the country's largest center dedicated to improving children's health, has fully implemented its HealthCommander Project Management solution for IT project and portfolio management across the enterprise. Performance Logic, Inc., is now working with SickKids on expanding the platform to other areas within the organization. HealthCommander was chosen by SickKids in a competitive process to provide a web-based platform for project and portfolio management. With over 300 active IT projects per year and a user base that will potentially include over 3,000 clinical and business professionals, SickKids was determined to find a solution that provided powerful project support while still embracing ease of use and flexibility to meet differing levels of project needs across the organization. In order to meet this commitment, at any given time, there may be over a hundred IT projects of different scale and complexity that are in progress. This new capability allows users to access and use step-by-step guides, project documents, and custom forms to run a project from start to finish in accordance with best practice and with standard project management tracking.
