Kenneth D. Bloem

Kenneth D. Bloem has a healthcare background that spans 30 years, including CEO of Georgetown University Medical Center, President and CEO of Stanford University Hospital and CEO of The Advisory Board Company. He has a master's degree in health policy and management from the Harvard School of Public Health.

Mark W. Dundon

Mark spent 32 years as a health care executive. He was a hospital administrator early in his career and held system positions for 21 of those years. His last position was as President of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Health System based in Kentucky. He is retired now and serves as Chair of the Board of the Health Enhancement Research Organization in Birmingham, Alabama and on the Board of the Midwest Center for Health and Healing in Rockford, Illinois. He plays a lead role in health promotion and prevention and anything that will help change the system as it now functions. Mark is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

John R. Griffith, MBA, FACHE

Professor Griffith is the Andrew Pattullo Collegiate Professor, Department of Health Management and Policy, School of Public Health at the University of Michigan. He has been a professor since 1960 during which he also served as; Chair of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration, a Commissioner for the Accrediting Commission on Education in Health Services Administration and an examiner for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award. He consults, and is the author of numerous books and articles on hospital management and performance improvement including the prizewinning text “The well managed healthcare organization”. Professor Griffith was awarded the Gold Medal of the ACHE, was recognized with the John Mannix Award of the Cleveland Hospital Council and the Edgar Hayhow and Dean Conley Prizes of ACHE. He received citations from the Michigan Hospital Association and the Governor of Michigan. He serves on the Boards of Allegiance Corporation and on the National Advisory Board of Family Road.

Douglas Smith

Doug is a globally recognized business thinker and writer concerned with organization performance, innovation, strategy and change. He is the author of six books on team management and innovation. He works with organizations in all industries and sectors of the economy and also sits on the board or advisory board of a number of technology-related enterprises. Doug was a partner with McKinsey and Company where he played a lead role in their organization practice.

Michael J. Sniffen, MBA, FACHE

Michael has more than 30 years of diverse healthcare experience. His career has included leadership positions at an academic medical center, regional healthcare system, community and inner city hospitals. He also served as an Associate Dean for a major Medical School. Mr. Sniffen is currently the President of The Manchester Group, an interim healthcare management firm and of Manchester Strategies, E Health Advisers.

Katherine W. Vestal PhD., FACHE

Dr. Kathy Vestal is an accomplished senior executive with extensive leadership experience in healthcare and a broad array of business skills. Her successful career has included positions as senior executive of patient care operations, managing partner in healthcare operations consulting practice, and university faculty. Dr. Vestal is currently President of Work Innovations, Inc, a healthcare strategy consulting firm.
